Your lyrics are so deep, creative and emotive, wow. You really know how to craft a hit song, through arrangement, melody and production. The best of the 80s is right here, right now, in this track. You’re a superstar Scomber!

I dont know about the superstar bit, Em. Lots of cliches and 80’s tropes peppered throughout. Not hard to create something from the 80’s when I never really left them anyway lol.
You are much too kind :)

Hard to believe that anything from this song is based on something I created. But I recognize part of „Lord C (In da House)“‘s bass line. Strechted and modified, but it is there. Absolutely great!

You got it musikpirat - the pulsing bass line is from Lord C (in the house) and this was the foundation of the track.

The only fresh sound was the DX7 synth hook theme lead that repeats in the chorus.
All the drums were sampled as one shots and patched to midi then mangled.
The synth beds were done the same, but then forced into an arpeggio that counter balanced the bass pulse.
Glad you like it!

Vielen Dank

So in fact mostly a de- and a recomposition. Really like that!
